This production of Macbeth took place in a black box theater that has difficult angles to master for lighting and I am proud of myself that I was able to make most of the angles look the same. There were three specific locations that the director wanted to utilize: the outdoors, inside castle light, and the witch lighting. I was able to use R68 in the back light for every setting and it was the hottest during the witch scenes to give them a mysterious and spooky vibe. I used a cool colored diagonal front light system along with a torch colored color in a front light system to add a feeling of being in a castle with torch light. It was difficult to light the show because I did not have a ton of gear but I was able to successfully utilize the gear that I did have to get the story across to the audience.
